Golf Glamour - The Styled to a Tee Invitational

Picture this: a links course reminiscent of the famous links courses of Ireland and Scotland; distinct water features, potbunkers and natural hazards, complemented by bent and fescue grasses. Except this course is in North America...in the shadow of New York City.

Skilled golfers will compete at The Links at Union Vale, surrounded by the brilliant mid-October foliage, not only for the chance to win the first Styled to a Tee Invitational, but also for the coveted "Best Dressed Golfer" prize. Needless to say, I'll be there... and right now I'm in the process of selecting my golf outfit and I'm torn between doing an awesome vintage look inspired by the great Diane Fishwick and an ultra edgy look composed of the Puma pieces I'm currently in love with. In any case I'm going to win this thing, not necessarily the golf part but definitely the fashion part.

If you're anywhere in the NYC area you should definitely consider joining me, and many other stylish golfers, on October 20th, in LaGrangeville, NY, for the first ever Styled to a Tee Invitational.

  1. I have no doubt you could pull off a chic Puma outfit and compliment it with a Diana Fishwick bucket hat from yesteryear. Be sure to show us your winning outfit!

  4. Now I wish I still lived in Manhattan! Mid October in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains is going to be beautiful. But I'd suggest you bring along a flask of Irish whiskey just in case.

  7. I'm sure you'll do us all proud !!

Will there be different catagories of style so the traditionalists won't be stuck against the "post modernist techno-geek-goths" and others ? :-)

  8. a links course in the caatskills? oy vey, where is the sea?

it sounds like this event should be held at the Robert Trent Jones masterpiece - Lido - it is a stones throw from NYC and also next to the sea - true links golf - maybe the best outside of the west coast of scotland!!!
