After selling golf apparel for years I get the same response from many women "this is brutal...why cant someone design something for women thats fashionable" I agree, many women hate collars on their shirts... Just ask women they will tell you what they want. Its actually pretty easy listen to them.... Key word "Listen" which most men cant do... And I'm guilty of this too but getting better. It could be worn in various ways with the brim folded back or turned up or down at whim.

It was widely worn in the mid-18th century, and versions may be seen in many British and French paintings of the period, such as The Swing by Fragonard, and in portraits by Thomas Gainsborough and Johann Zoffany, amongst others.

A nineteenth century version of the bergère hat formed part of the Dolly Varden ensembles popular in the early 1870s, as summed up in Alfred Lee's novelty song Dolly Varden (published Cleveland, 1872) which contains the lyrics: Have you seen my little girl? She doesn’t wear a bonnet/ She’s got a monstrous flip-flop hat with cherry ribbons on it.[1]

perfect !.............The Swing by Fragonard !Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2640652526116928447.post-73066865588540453712012-10-04T15:05:15.173-04:002012-10-04T15:05:15.173-04:00heather, well with 24 of them i guess that makes y...heather, well with 24 of them i guess that makes you the expert on the subject, but i just don't get it: with tams and straw and fidoras and bucket and hairclips and hairstyles and the like it seems the HEAD is an blank canvas to be "creative" with

frankdftliquordalesoFLA33314Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2640652526116928447.post-46361626844282678292012-10-01T23:46:37.343-04:002012-10-01T23:46:37.343-04:00Anonymous, I think it depends on what you mean by ...Anonymous, I think it depends on what you mean by baseball cap. If you're talking about the basic guys cap with a team logo, maybe, but lots of companies are now producing "baseball cap type" golf hats designed to compliment their apparel collections. They're not an afterthought at all. I know, I happen to have 24 of them. heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10601354583705810775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2640652526116928447.post-49371422373669729422012-10-01T23:27:52.810-04:002012-10-01T23:27:52.810-04:00I don't know Anon, I wouldn't mind seeing ...I don't know Anon, I wouldn't mind seeing one of the more, um, physically fit ladies at my club wearing that Natalie Gulbis outfit. ;)langstonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03571749548852885605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2640652526116928447.post-1311173353544452932012-10-01T09:48:01.907-04:002012-10-01T09:48:01.907-04:00well haute couture it ain't and i must say tha...well haute couture it ain't and i must say that ANY look that includes a baseball cap is just lazy

of all the things women can do to advance styles, why do golfers especially, lag in this ?

a dozen or MORE fashion statements have been already made in tennis

except for natalie gulbis recently in sports illustrated, i do not see any adventure, and that doesn't really count because it was a swimsuit, or a painting of a swimsuit, and not a golf outfitAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2640652526116928447.post-18194974570232531272012-09-30T22:48:03.354-04:002012-09-30T22:48:03.354-04:00I think almost anyone, young or old, fat or thin, ...I think almost anyone, young or old, fat or thin, can take certain elements of the look, ie, the color palette or the fit, or maybe the accessories and incorporate them into a more mainstream outfit for that extra spark that make these outfits look so modern and distinctive.
