There simply is not a player that commands the same sort of following.

Since revenues for TV rest of ratings, it is clear that the PGA wants to have their greatest asset on as often as possible, because with a larger audience, they get more revenue. With more revenue, there is more money to be distributed in prize money, and not just first place. So yes, it makes sense that the other pros like Tiger to be there, because he puts money in their pockets too, in the long run.

Secondly, a pro worth his salt wants to be the best, and obviously, to be the best you have to beat the best. Phil Mickelson, Padraig Harrington and Sergio Garcia are not the best. Tiger is. Reason #2 for the pros to want him back.

And Jeff, I think we have all see what Tiger can do on one knee already.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2640652526116928447.post-57434840698068067872009-02-23T22:02:00.000-05:002009-02-23T22:02:00.000-05:00Just remember this with knee injuries... it can t...Just remember this with knee injuries... it can take up to 18 months for a torn ligament to be fully healed, ask any NFL running back.

Not that Tiger will have to worry about an o-line making holes for him, but considering his kinetically powerful swing, it'll be interesting to see how the knee will fare.Jeff Goodmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09685374609361573761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2640652526116928447.post-17956232785270102832009-02-23T20:34:00.000-05:002009-02-23T20:34:00.000-05:00It may.It may.Average Golferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09046762898552584292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2640652526116928447.post-53592582411342569472009-02-23T19:48:00.000-05:002009-02-23T19:48:00.000-05:00The expectations are huge. It's great.

Did you ever notice if a pro has on a Nike shirt, there are never any other logos on it.
