She's outspoken and controversial and she's a women's golf champion. Her 19-under-par finish in the 1999 Kraft Nabisco Championship still stands as the lowest score in relation to par in a major championship. And that's just one among many career wins.
At the Solheim cup recently she made a "poor choice of words", and these days she's generating almost almost as much buzz as Oscar de la Hoya in Drag. And that's saying something.
i don't believe she is helping the lpga's image problem. i watch some of the solheim cup coverage and it was extremely bush leage. the golf channel did a terrible job - terrible coverage of the action on the course, bad commenting, inappropriate comments.. yada, yada, yada
ReplyDeletei really enjoy watching the lpga atheltes compete - it is a shame the coverage is so consistantly unprofessional
I think the Golf Channel thought they could control Dottie Pepper. Well, "Earth to Golf Channel: No one controls Dottie Pepper".
ReplyDeleteI agree, I was surprised to see Dottie looking so demure when she joined TGC. It was just packaging evidently.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt--she is kick ass.

Very good player, but I never wished to play with her... Same for Christina Kim....
ReplyDeleteMake confusion with golf game and war is stupid.
