My Search for an Awesome Sunday Golf Bag
So that's what I'm looking for.
They used to call them "Sunday bags", but now I hear people referring to them as "range bags".
I want something like the one in the illustration at left. These over-the-shoulder appear to have been popular at the Home of Golf in bygone years, as illustrated in the charming vintage poster at left.
I'm looking for something light... something that accommodates several clubs while remaining compact and easy to carry. A stand would be nice, but not necessary. Oh... and I want it to be at least somewhat cute. As in, not too utilitarian.
So let me know if you see anything along those lines or if you have a bag to recommend.

How about a Bin Bag? Designed to carry seven clubs and balls. Made from part recycled materials, strategically strengthened with card. May not be cute enough for you.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if they come in 'cute' colors :P but here is a nice review of a few 'Sunday' bags:

Hi Patricia, Check out the Sunday Bags by Club Glove. Good luck! Phil
ReplyDeleteI think this is the type your looking for but it's not very cute. Maybe you can paint it a pretty color.
ReplyDeleteI've found lots of different models but none are very pretty. >:(
ReplyDeleteI think the Bin Bag is a brilliant idea. And if not cute, it's very edgy looking. I love the whole concept.
ReplyDeleteHave you guys ever heard of the P3ProSwing Analyzer/Golf Simulator? Its pretty sweet. I just bought 1 and its PGA endorsed and used at Sports Authority. It only cost $900. check it out at

The Taylor Made one's are not bad, I wouldn't call them cute, but they're not ugly!

Hi Patricia ! I just ordered the Titleist SX0 Carry Bag in black. I already have my big pink bag so so the black one is a little bit more neutral. There's enough pockets and the double strap is, for me, great. I won't say it's cute but it's practical
ReplyDeleteI was practicing the other day and this came by with a Sunday bag. He got his from a company called Wellzher. You can find it on Amazon. Looks like they have three colors. No prints though.

The MacKenzie Sunday walker may be the best bag made and can be customized.

Tough to go wrong with the titelist sunday carry bag. I like it for twilight rounds as well:

Although if you're wiling, the MacKenzie bags look very elegant.
Yeah, the one in the left would look good on you. Have you tried visiting in Ebay or in any online store? And you are so pretty.
