Are We Ready for the Sequel?

Plot: The gripping tale of a statuesque, beautiful and talented young Hawaiian girl with a killer golf game.

Backed by an A-list marketing team, she defies her critics in pursuit of her dream: to play on the PGA tour. Taking advantage of sponsor's exemptions she struggles to make the cut, but tragically flounders time and again.

She then gets accepted to Stanford University, wears lots of Nike, models for Omega, lands a walk-on role on CSI and...still plays golf at a very high level, proving once again, how great it is to be a beautiful, young, talented woman...with an A-list marketing team.

Plot: This much anticipated sequel traces the path of a vertically challenged and portly young Hawaiian boy with a killer golf game and an infectious smile.

With no semblance of a marketing team he plays his way into the Sony Open by shooting a 67 and capturing the lone amateur spot, thus becoming the youngest player in 50 years to make the cut on the PGA Tour. He goes to the final Sunday round tied for eighth and finishes with a very respectable -5, proving that with hard work and iron will, a short, stocky young fellow from a working class background can become a golf hero to millions.

Yep, I think we're ready for the sequel.

  1. That's so cool. It really could be a movie plot too.

  2. This is definitely one of those case where the sequel is better then the original. ;-)

  3. What is it about Hawaii, something in the water? and these two came from very different backgrounds as you point out. I've got to get my family down there while the kids are still little . lol

    That's not very NICE, Patricia...

  6. I think "Tadpole" is ultra-cute...just like Tad himself. His short stature is part of what makes him so appealing, and he seems to realize that.

  7. It's STANFORD, not STAMFORD, silly!

You Connecticuttians...always thinking the world revolves around YOU...(even if the two keys ARE right next to one another on the keyboard....)

  8. Thought you might get a laugh from this posting about Tad's return to high-school...

  10. OOOps. Corrected the Stamford vs Stanford mistake. I totally knew that but, in fact, we Connecticuttians do think the world revolves around us. Hope everyone else thought it was a typo. {:o/
