Just one little cocktail. OK? After all, he's now Britain's top golfer. A fifth place finish in the BMW Championship boosted Mr. Rose ahead of Luke Donald and into that top position. And he's the only English golfer in the field for the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta this weekend. So, I'm counting on one of my English readers to create a Fedex Cup Cocktail for this young man. The contest closes at midnight Saturday so get mixing...STAT!
It looks like Justin's going to need that libation...big time. He's never even seen East Lake and he's not going to be able to take a single practice shot prior to Thursday's opening round. The pro-am has even been cancelled. It seems the greens are in extremely "fragile" condition due to a summer drought. So let's wish Justin the best... and let's make sure he has a cocktail named after him.

2 parts rum
1 glob of mayo
celery to taste
a pinch of salt
a punch of pepper
dump in blender, add 1 cup crushed ice and blend away.
serve to your worst enemy or noisy neighbor.
Poor Justin will be able to take practice shots (weather permitting...we're finally getting some rain here in the south). The caveat in the practice is that they can't take shots onto the greens, so it may help a bit. I'd like to see him do well.
