In 1948 alone, Ben Hogan won 10 tournaments... including the U.S. Open at Riviera Country Club, a course known as "Hogan's Alley" because of his success there.
In a few weeks, the Northern Trust Open will be held at Riviera Country Club with some of today's best golfers in the field. And there's a trip to be won. A trip that includes a 4-night hotel stay, airfare and tickets to the tournament in Pacific Palisades, California.
I just entered, you should to. There are lots of other prizes... and there's a really fun game that'll let you test your skills on some challenging Rivera Golf holes.
It'll also provide some much needed distraction from this first day back at work after the holidays.
Fun game. Great distraction for a tough Monday. Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteReally fun game. I'm excited about this year's Northern Trust Open. Do you think Phil Mickelson can repeat?
ReplyDeleteGood stuff !
ReplyDeleteThere are three places known as "Hogan's Alley". Riviera, Colonial, and Carnoustie's 5th hole, a par 5 with a split fairway. Most players went to the wide open right, but only Hogan went to the left, which was about 10 yards wide with an out of bounds fence on the left. He split that narrow strip 4 times and hit the green in two all four days.
Court...how do you know so much about everything? :-)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to play Hogan's Alley again tomorrow!!!
I just almost got fired playing the game. And now I'm hooked.
ReplyDeletelol - Lisa - I just wish some of it was useful !
