Halloween was as festive as ever in our neighborhood this year.
We had over 2,000 visitors. In addition to the witches, goblins and monsters there was the expected plethora of naughty nurses, sexy sailors and burlesque beauties. They formed a continual procession from 6 to 9 pm.
Our Golden Age Golfers were a hit. Though
In any case we had a blast, as you can probably tell from our photos. And we've already chosen a theme for next year: "Massacre at Winged Foot", based in the 1974 U.S. Open at Winged Foot. I suspect it'll involve plaid polyester bell bottoms, shaggy hair and leisure suits. Picture Johnny Miller in his glory days.
I have a feeling that look'll be scary even without zombie make-up.
Your video is wonderful ! Looks like you had a great time.
ReplyDeleteDid you say, "Golden Era drinkers"?
ReplyDeleteLooked like a blast...
"2,000 visitors" ??? that can't mean 2,000 kids, can it ? Sounds like you needed a truckload of treats !
ReplyDeleteGreat video - you really know how to do Halloween at your house.
Got a story from a friend yesterday - one of the houses in his neighborhood had a hidden cooler for the adults to grab a cold beverage while the kids were getting candy. Everybody left happy at that house.
The video's great but did you have to put that Johnny Miller reference in there?
ReplyDeleteYou guys look amazing. How fun!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry the hangover subsides, or "Over Hang" as one of my golfing pals calls it.
How fun! And your costume was perfect. I'm guessing you never have left over candy if you have 2,000 kids - that's the best part of Halloween! That and the hot cider and Captain Morgan's.
ReplyDeleteHow totally fun! Everyone looked amazingly authentic. What a great Halloween theme!
